Minimizers of the Willmore functional under fixed conformal class (Q360080)

The existence of a smooth minimizer of the Willmore energy in the class of conformal immersions of a given closed Riemann surface into \(\mathbb R^3\) and \(\mathbb R^4\) obeying some conditions is given by a series of methods and techniques of geometric analysis.
