Density lower bound estimates for local minimizers of the \(2d\) Mumford-Shah energy (Q361845)

One refers to the density lower bound estimation proved in the article of \textit{E. De Giorgi} et al. [Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal. 108, No.3, 195--218 (1989; Zbl 0682.49002)]. In the present paper, two-dimensional Mumford-Shah energy minimizers are considered. The estimation for these local minimizers is proved by means of some monotonicity formula due to David-Léger-Maddalena-Solimini ([\textit{G. David} and \textit{J. C. Léger}, Ann. Inst. Henri Poincaré, Anal. Non Linéaire 19, No. 5, 631--682 (2002; Zbl 1038.49022)] and [\textit{F. Maddalena} and \textit{S. Solimini}, Adv. Nonlinear Stud. 1, No. 2, 1--41 (2001; Zbl 1044.49026)]). In the estimation, an explicit constant is obtained.
