The generator and quantum Markov semigroup for quantum walks (Q363269)

The quantum walk \((QW)\) is a quantum analogue of the classical random walk. In the paper, the authors investigate the \((QW)\)s by their generators. The generator is found from an evolution map of a \((QW)\). The discrete time and the continuous time \((QW)\)s are studied. Moreover, the quantum Markov semigroup for \((QW)\)'s is discussed. The limit distributions of the \((QW)\)s in one dimension with a proper scaling are obtained.
