This circumstantial paper treats the global regularity problem to the Navier-Stokes system \[ \begin{aligned} &\frac{\partial u}{\partial t}+ (u\cdot\nabla)u-\Delta u+\nabla p=f,\quad \text{div}\,u=0 \quad x\in \mathbb{R}^3,\;t\in[0,T], \\ &u(x,0)=u_0(x)\quad x\in \mathbb{R}^3, \end{aligned} \] where \(f\) and \(u_0\) are given functions. Following by Clay Millennium Prize formulation by \textit{C. L. Fefferman} [Existence and smoothness of the Navier-Stokes equations. Providence, RI: American Mathematical Society (AMS); Cambridge, MA: Clay Mathematics Institute (2006; Zbl 1194.35002)] the author gives different formulations of the regularity problem. These formulations pertain to different types of solutions including periodic solutions, finite energy solutions, \(H^1\) solutions, and smooth solutions. The scheme of implications between the various conjectures (existence of smooth or mild solutions, or local or global quantitative bounds in the periodic, Schwartz, \(H^1\), or finite energy categories, with or without normalized pressure, and with or without the \(f=0\) conditions) is presented. The main results of the paper are: \newline 1) global well-posedness in periodic \(H^1\) and \textit{a priori} periodic \(H^1\) boundness are equivalent; \newline 2) global well-posedness in periodic \(H^1\) implies global regularity for periodic data with normalised pressure; \newline 3) global well-posedness in periodic \(H^1\) implies global well-posedness from spatially smooth \(H^1\) data; \newline 4) global well-posedness in periodic \(H^1\) implies global almost regularity for \(f=0\) and \(u_0\in H^1\); \newline 5) global almost regularity for \(f=0\) and \(u_0\in H^1\) is equivalent to global almost regularity for \(f=0\) and \(u_0\in L^2\); \newline 6) for \(f=0\) the global almost regularity for \(u_0\in H^1\) and the global well-posedness for \(u_0\in H^1\) are equivalent. \newline The proof is based on the enstropy estimates to the Navier-Stokes equations applied for large data and long times.
