Let \(\mathfrak{g}\) be a generalized Kac-Moody algebra in the sense of \textit{R. Borcherds} [J. Algebra 115, No. 2, 501--512 (1988; Zbl 0644.17010)], and let \(\mathbb{B}(\lambda)\) be the associated crystal of all generalized Lakshmibai-Seshadri paths of shape \(\lambda\), in the sense of \textit{A. Joseph} and \textit{P. Lamprou} [Adv. Math. 221, No. 6, 2019--2058 (2009; Zbl 1194.17006)]. The author shows that \(\mathbb{B}(\lambda)\) can be embedded in the path crystal \(\tilde{\mathbb{B}}(\tilde{\lambda})\) of Lakshmibai-Seshadri paths of shape \(\tilde{\lambda}\) for a certain Kac-Moody algebra \(\tilde{\mathfrak{g}}\); this is not an embedding of crystals. As an application, an isomorphism theorem is proved, and the isomorphism theorem of Joseph and Lamprou is obtained as a special case. A decomposition rule for tensor products and a branching rule for restriction to Levi subalgebras are given for Joseph and Lamprou's crystals.
