A symplectic manifold is called uniruled if there is a non-vanishing genus zero Gromov-Witten invariant involving a point insertion and with a non-trivial curve class. Uniruledness is an interesting and important conception in the study of symplectic birational geometry, a program analog to birational geometry in algebraic geometry. The main result of the paper under review states that if a symplectic manifold contains a symplectic divisor with non-negative normal bundle, and uniruled by certain curve class, then the symplectic manifold is uniruled as well. See Theorem 1.1 and Theorem 4.9 for the precise statement. The main result of this paper has been carried out in two major steps. First, the authors relates certain Gromov-Witten invariants of the symplectic divisor \(D\) to certain relative invariants of a \(\mathbb P^1\) -bundle over D corresponding to sup-admissible graphs defined in the paper. The relations are built by applying the virtual localization technique of [\textit{B. Chen} and \textit{A. Li}, ``Symplectic relative virtual localization'', in preparation] on the symplectic side, and [\textit{T. Graber} and \textit{R. Vakil}, Duke Math. J. 130, No. 1, 1--37 (2005; Zbl 1088.14007)] on the algebraic side. Then the authors relates the relative invariants of the \(\mathbb P^1\) -bundle over \(D\) to the absolute Gromov-Witten invariants of the symplectic manifold via the degeneration formula developed by several groups of researchers [\textit{E.-N. Ionel} and \textit{T. H. Parker}, Ann. Math. (2) 159, No. 3, 935--1025 (2004; Zbl 1075.53092)], [\textit{J. Li}, J. Differ. Geom. 60, No. 2, 199--293 (2002; Zbl 1063.14069)], and [\textit{A.-M. Li} and \textit{Y. Ruan}, Invent. Math. 145, No. 1, 151--218 (2001; Zbl 1062.53073)]. Several ideas and techniques of calculations can be traced back to the authors' previous work with \textit{J. Hu} et al. [Invent. Math. 172, No. 2, 231--275 (2008; Zbl 1163.53055)], and the work of \textit{D. Maulik} and \textit{R. Pandharipande} [Topology 45, No. 5, 887--918 (2006; Zbl 1112.14065)]. Several applications and examples have been discussed in the end of this paper.
