The authors prove a roughness result for linear difference equations NEWLINE\[NEWLINE v_{m+1}=[A_m+B_m(\lambda)]v_m NEWLINE\]NEWLINE in \({\mathbb R}^l\): This means that a nonuniform exponential dichotomy of \(v_{m+1}=A_mv_m\) is preserved under homogeneous perturbations satisfying \(\|B_m(\lambda)\|\leq\delta e^{-3\epsilon|m|}\) uniformly in \(\lambda\), where \(\epsilon\geq 0\) is the regularity number. Moreover, the dichotomy projectors depend analytically on the parameter \(\lambda\), provided the function \(B_m\) does.
