Entropic pairs of operations and generalized endomorphisms (Q378691)

The paper belongs to a series of several papers of the author discussing special cases of the concepts of entropicity and generalized entropicity of algebras, and providing their simple properties and relations between them. In this paper the author describes connections between these two concepts in the case of algebras with one \(n\)-ary operation. Some of the results appeared in earlier papers of the author, and some (or results being more general or very close to results of the author) were in fact considered much earlier by other authors. The concept of a generalized endomorphism was introduced by \textit{A. Pilitowska} [Modes of submodes. Warsaw: Warsaw University of Technology (PhD Thesis) (1996)] under the name ``complex condition'' and published in [\textit{A. Pilitowska}, ``Identities for classes of algebras closed under the complex structures'', Discuss. Math., Algebra Stoch. Methods 18, No. 1, 85--109 (1998; Zbl 0916.08005)]. Later, it appeared under the name ``generalized entropic property'' in [\textit{K. Adaricheva} et al., Algebra Logic 47, No. 6, 367--383 (2008); translation from Algebra Logika 47, No. 6, 655--686 (2008; Zbl 1241.08002)].
