Let \(P= (P,\pi,B,G)\), \(Q= (Q,\pi',B',H)\) be two principal bundles and \((f,\varphi,h): P\to Q\) a morphism. The connections \(\omega\) on \(P\) and \(\theta\) on \(Q\) are \((f,\varphi,h)\)-related if this morphism preserves the horizontal subspaces. In this paper, the main results characterize connections related together by bundle morphisms. From the contents: related connections, connections on associated principal bundles, connections on projective limit bundles, sheafification of local connections forms. Let \(P\), \(Q\) be principal bundles over the same base \(B\), and \(\omega\), \(\theta\) connections in \(P\), respectively \(Q\). Consider an open cover \(\{U_\alpha\mid\alpha\in I\}\) of \(B\) with some local sections \(\{s_\alpha\}_{\alpha\in I}\) of \(P\) and \(\{t_\alpha\}_{\alpha\in I}\) for \(Q\). If \(\{\omega_\alpha\}\) and \(\{\theta_\alpha\}\) are the connection forms on \(U_\alpha\) with respect to \(\{s_\alpha\}\) and \(\{t_\alpha\}\) (for \(\omega\) and \(\theta\)), then the author proves the following criterion of relatedness of connections: Theorem: Let \((f,\varphi,\text{id}_B)\) be a principal bundle morphism of \(P\equiv(P, G,B,\pi)\) into \(Q\equiv (Q,H,B,\pi')\). Two connections \(\omega\) and \(\theta\) on \(P\) and \(Q\), respectively, are \((f,\varphi,\text{id}_B)\)-related if and only if \[ \overline\varphi\omega_\alpha= \text{Ad}(h^{-1}_\alpha).\theta_\alpha+ h^{-1}_\alpha dh_\alpha,\quad \alpha,\beta\in I, \] where \(\{h_\alpha: U_\alpha\to H\mid\alpha\in I\}\) are smooth maps such that \(f\circ s_\alpha= t_\alpha\cdot h_\alpha\), for every \(\alpha\in I\). These results serve as a motivation for the geometry of principal sheaves.
