This paper deals with a plant-hare model with stage structure. By analyzing the corresponding characteristic equations, the local stability of the equilibria is investigated and Hopf bifurcation at the positive equilibrium under some conditions is established. Taking time delay as bifurcating parameter, the direction and stability of Hopf bifurcation is determined.
