Using some fixed point theorems, the authors investigate the existence of periodic solutions in the \(\alpha\)-norm for the partial functional differential equation with infinite delay \[ \displaystyle\frac{du}{dt}(t)=-Au(t)+f(t,u_t),\,\,\,t\in\mathbb{R}. \] Here \(f:\mathbb{R}\times {\mathcal B}_{\alpha}\to X\) is a continuous function, \(\sigma\)-periodic in its first argument, \(X\) is a Banach space, \({\mathcal B}_{\alpha}\) is the phase space, \(A:D(A)\subseteq X\to X\) is a closed linear operator, for which \(-A\) generates an analytic semigroup, and \(u_t\), \(t\in\mathbb{R}\), is the historic function defined on \((-\infty,0]\). An application of the achieved results for a reaction-diffusion system with infinite delay is also presented.
