Some investigations on a class of nonlinear integrodifferential equations on the half-line (Q381233)

The authors do some investigations on a class of nonlinear integro-differential equations on the half line. They consider a second-order integro-differential boundary value problem arising from the kinetic theory of dusty plasmas and present an analytical study of existence, uniqueness, positiveness, regularity and boundedness of the solution. The properties of the solutions reported are helpful in the comprehension of the problem itself and its numerical analysis.
