    Let \(\mathbb B(\mathcal H)\) be the algebra of all bounded linear operators acting on an infinite dimensional separable complex Hilbert space \(\mathcal H\). \(T\in \mathbb B(\mathcal H)\) is called \textit{hyponormal} if \(T^*T \geq TT^*\), and T is called \textit{paranormal} (resp., \(*\)-\textit{paranormal}) if \(\|T^2x\| \geq \|Tx\|^2\) (resp., \(\|T^2x\| \geq \|T^*x\|^2\)) for all unit vectors \(x\in \mathcal H\). \(T\in\mathbb B(\mathcal H)\) belongs to the \textit{class \(A\)} (resp., \(*\)-\textit{class} \(A\) or \textit{quasi-\(*\)-class} \(A\)) if \(|T^2| \geq |T|^2\) (resp., \(|T^2| \geq |T^*|^2\) or \(T^*|T^2|T \geq T^*|T^*|^2T\)). An operator \(T\) is called \(k\)-\textit{quasi-\(*\)-class \(A\)} if \[ {T^*}^k\left(|T^2|-|T^*|^2\right)T^k \geq 0,\quad k\in \mathbb N. \] In the paper under review, the author extends some spectral properties of quasi-class \(A\) and quasi-\(*\)-class \(A\) operators to \(k\)-quasi-\(*\)-class \(A\) operators. For instance, a bounded operator \(T\in\mathbb B(X)\) is said to be \textit{polaroid} if every isolated point of the spectrum is a pole of the resolvent, where \(X\) is a complex Banach space. Also, \(T\) is said to be \textit{algebraically \(k\)-quasi-\(*\)-class \(A\)} if \(p(T)\) is \(k\)-quasi-\(*\)-class \(A\) for some nonconstant polynomial \(p(z)\). The author proves that an algebraically \(k\)-quasi-\(*\)-class \(A\) operator is polaroid. Subsequently, the author proves some other variants of Weyl's theorem for \(k\)-quasi-\(*\)-class \(A\) operators.
