A finite solvable group \(G\) is called an \(X\)-group if each subnormal subgroup of \(G\) permutes with all the system normalizers of \(G\). In this paper the following main results are shown. Subgroups and quotient groups of \(X\)-groups are \(X\)-groups. Let \(M\) and \(N\) be normal subgroups of a group \(C\) of relatively prime orders. If \(C/M\) and \(C/N\) are \(X\)-groups, then \(C\) is also an \(X\)-group. Let the nilpotent residual \(L\) of some finite group \(H\) be Abelian. Then \(H\) is an \(X\)-group if and only if \(H\) acts by conjugation on \(L\) as a group of power automorphisms. If \(A\) and \(B\) are \(X\)-groups with nilpotent residuals \(L\) and \(M\) of relatively primde orders, then \(A\times B\) is an \(X\)-group. There are more results shown. Connections to other classes of groups are treated, such as that due to \textit{A. Fransman} and \textit{R. W. van der Waall} [Quaest. Math. 19, No. 1-2, 59-82 (1996; Zbl 0859.20017)], that due to \textit{J. C. Beidleman} and \textit{H. Heineken} [Ric. Mat. 55, No. 2, 219-225 (2006; Zbl 1119.20023)], that due to \textit{W. Gaschütz} [J. Reine Angew. Math. 198, 87-92 (1957; Zbl 0077.25003)] and that due to \textit{M. F. Ragland} [Commun. Algebra 35, No. 10, 3242-3252 (2007; Zbl 1139.20015)].
