Topologies are studied on the non-standard extension of a metric space. The basic instrument is a convex subring of the non-standard extension of the set of real numbers. Then the set of non-invertible elements of the ring is considered and the factor space of these rings. An interesting observation is that the class of the ring-appreciable radius neighbourhoods fails to be a base for a topology on the non-standard extension of the given metric space. Of course, the author gives a new basis for a topology, the so-called QS-topology, and the topology is studied. Then the continuity between non-standard extensions of various metric spaces is studied.
