The principal idea of this work is an inclusion of the force term into the Navier-Stokes equation for the system of the incompressible fluid and the suspended particles in the self-consistent Vlasov's form \(-\int_{\mathbb R^d}(u-v)fd v\), where \(u\) and \(v\) are the velocities of the fluid and the particles correspondingly, and \(f\) is the distribution function for particles location. The authors prove a global existence of the weak solution for such a system for spatial dimensions \(D=2,3\) and its uniqueness for \(D=2\). The main idea of the proof is based on the usage of the energy functional of the particles density and the construction of the regularized approximation scheme for the considered Navier-Stokes-Vlasov system.
