The main purpose of the present paper is to use the basic idea of iterations for variational inequality problems over the fixed point set of a quasi-nonexpansive operator to families of problems and mappings. Applications include different discretizations levels as well as the construction of the iteration that takes changes in the variational inequality. An elliptic control problem with bounds on the control is studied in the final part of the present paper.
