Parametrized homology measures how the homology of level sets of a subset of \({\mathbb R}^{n} \times {\mathbb R}\) change as the parameter determined by the second factor changes. This paper extends Alexander duality to this setting. Specifically suppose that \(X \subset {\mathbb R}^{n} \times {\mathbb R}\) is a compact set satisfying for which the level sets of the projection onto the second factor are locally contractible, let \(Y = \{{\mathbb R}^{n} \times {\mathbb R}\} \setminus X\) then the reduced parametrized homology of \(X\) and \(Y\) as described by the zigzag persistence diagrams satisfy Alexander duality. The paper is clearly written with some beautiful and insightful diagrams.
