On stability of a class of integro-differential equations (Q390023)

The paper deals with the stability for the linear Volterra-Stieltjes differential equations, continuing the work started in an earlier article, namely [SIAM J. Control Optim. 49, No. 1, 205--226 (2011; Zbl 1220.34096)]. The author presents some simple criteria for the uniform asymptotic stability and the exponential asymptotic stability of these equations. These criteria are given in terms of the matrix measure or the spectral abscissa of certain matrices derived from the coefficient matrices. The results are further employed to study the asymptotic behavior of solutions of Volterra integro-differential equations with infinite delay.
