Conformal field theories of stochastic Loewner evolutions and their dipolar versions are developed for a Gaussian free field in a simply connected domain with Dirichlet boundary condition. The main ingredient of the formalism is the central charge modification. It is proved that correlators of a family of fields in this framework are martingale observables for the dipolar SLE. The Neumann boundary data can be implemented as well, giving rise to the theory which is dual to that Dirichlet-constrained. Mixed boundary conditions for this model have been discussed in the companion paper [the authors, Anal. Math. Phys. 3, No. 4, 333--373 (2013; Zbl 1288.60097)]. A transcript (suitable modifications) to the dipolar case of theoretical tools employed in the study of the radial and chordal case is given. Vertex fields and rooted multi-vertex fields are discussed in some detail, together with related Ward identities.
