The author showed in [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 399, No. 2, 524--541 (2013; Zbl 1269.37006)] that in the closure of the set of conjugates (via Lebesgue measure-preserving homeomorphisms) of an aperiodic rotation of the torus \(\mathbb T^2\) a dense \(G_{\delta}\) subset comprises maps that are weakly-mixing, uniformly rigid and strictly ergodic (\(S\) is uniformly rigid if there is a sequence of integers \((n_j)\) with the property that \(T^{n_j}\) converges uniformly to the identity map). Here a topological version of this result is shown for the Klein bottle, as follows. In the closure of the set of conjugates of an aperiodic rotation by homeomorphisms of the Klein bottle there exists a dense \(G_{\delta}\) consisting of maps that are topologically weakly mixing and uniformly rigid. The construction presents the Klein bottle as a quotient of \(\mathbb T^2\) by a group action, and then establishes this large set of topologically weakly mixing homeomorphisms of \(\mathbb T^2\) that are equivariant for the group action and uniformly rigid.
