Chen-Han-Zhang [\textit{Q. Chen} et al., J. Differ. Geom. 88, No. 1, 1--39 (2011; Zbl 1252.58011)] introduced a special topological condition called \(\mathrm{string}^c\) condition and constructed a Witten type genus which takes values in level 1 modular forms with integral Fourier expansion on these \(\mathrm{string}^c\) manifolds. Chen-Han-Zhang also established the rigidity and vanishing theorems for this Witten type operators. The authors use the method developed by Liu-Ma-Zhang [\textit{K. Liu} and \textit{X. Ma}, Duke Math. J. 102, No. 3, 451--474 (2000; Zbl 0988.58010) and \textit{K. Liu} et al., Commun. Anal. Geom. 11, No. 1, 121--180 (2003; Zbl 1087.58014)] to establish the family rigidity and vanishing theorems on the equivariant K-theory level for the Witten type operators on \(\mathrm{string}^c\) manifolds introduced by Chen-Han-Zhang.
