[For the entire collection see Zbl 0692.00005.] Let \(Q\) be a set and \(E_ 0\), \(E_ i\subset E_ 0\) \((i=1,2)\) linear subspaces of \(\mathbb{C}^ Q\). For any positive function \(p\in R_ +^ Q\) on \(Q\) we put \(E(p)=\{f\in E_ 0; \| f\|_ p:=\sup_{t\in Q}f(t)\cdot p(t)^{-1}<\infty\}\). Let \(f_ m\in R_ +^ Q\), \(\phi=\{f_ m\}_{m=1}^ \infty\) be such that \(\sup_{t\in Q}f_ m(t)\cdot f_{m+1}^{-1}<\infty\), \(m=1,2,\dots\). Let \(E=\lim\hbox{ ind }E(f_ m)\) and let \(\phi_ i=\{f_ m^ i\}_{m=1}^ \infty\) \((i=1,2)\) be two sequences as above. Then \(M(E^{\phi_ 1},E^{\phi_ 2})\) is the set of all continuous multipliers of the pair \(E^{\phi_ 1},E^{\phi_ 2}\), i.e. the set of all \(a\in\mathbb{C}^ Q\) such that if \(L_ a\) is the operator of pointwise multiplication by \(a(t)\) \((L_ a(x)(t)=a(x)x(t))\) then \(L_ a\) maps continuously \(E^{\phi_ 1}\) into \(E^{\phi_ 2}\). The author gives conditions when \[ M(E^{\phi_ 1},E^{\phi_ 2})=\{f\in E_ 0;\;\forall n\geq 1\;\exists m\geq 1: \sup_{t\in Q}| f(t)|\cdot f^ 1_ n(t)\cdot f_ m^ 2(t)^{-1}<\infty\}. \] The author describes also sets of continuous multipliers for other pairs of scalar valued function spaces.
