The cotangent bundle \(T^*M\) of a smooth real manifold \(M^{2n}\) is known to admit a canonical symplectic form \(\Omega^*\). The paper under review takes a pseudo-Kähler or para-Kähler manifold \((M, J, g, \omega)\) and proves that the tangent bundle \(TM\) also enjoys a natural pseudo-Kähler or para-Kähler structure \((\tilde{J}, \tilde{g},\Omega)\), where \(\Omega\) is the pull-back under \(g\) of \(\Omega^*\), \(\tilde{g}\) is a neutral metric and \(\tilde{J}\) the canonical induced (para-)complex structure. It then studies the curvature properties of \((\tilde{J}, \tilde{g})\), showing that: {\parindent=6mm \begin{itemize} \item[1)] \(\tilde{g}\) is scalar-flat and not Einstein unless \(g\) is flat; \item [2)] the corresponding Ricci curvature \(\widetilde{\mathrm{Ric}}\) has the same sign as \(\mathrm{Ric}\); \item [3)] \(\tilde{g}\) is locally conformally flat if and only if g has constant curvature (in case \(n = 1\)) or \(g\) is flat (\(n > 2\)); \item [4)] the holomorphic sectional curvature of \((\tilde{J}, \tilde{g})\) is not constant unless \(g\) is flat. \end{itemize}} Related results can be found in a vast number of works, among which [\textit{Y.
