In the present Letter the transparency structure of two moving magnetized plasma layers irradiatted by an electromagnetic wave is investigated theoretically, and its resonant conditions are determined. Here, the direction of the external steady-state magnetic field is normal to the plasma surface and the two layers move with different velocities parallel to the interface (in \(y\)-direction). The effects of the external magnetic field, the speed of the plasma layers and the magnitude of the wave number component \(k_y\) on the transparency are simulated. The described investigations have been performed separately for S-polarized and P-polarized electromagnetic waves.NEWLINENEWLINETaking into account relativistic effects, it is shown that the transparency coefficients are asymmetrical with respect to \(k_y/k\) due to the layers' propagation in \(y\)-direction. Here even an absolute transparency can occur for frequencies of the incident wave in the interval between the plasma frequencies of the two layers. The anomalous high transparency is explained by the energy transport by two (decaying and growing) evanescent waves excited by the incident electromagnetic wave. Further, high transparency is also possible because of the external magnetic field and/or the motion of the plasma layers. It is found that in cases of stationary layers and missing external magnetic field, an incident S-polarized wave cannot excite the surface plasma waves responsible for resonant transparency effects.
