In this paper, the author characterized the structure that arises when 4-flowers are equivalent under certain relations. Originally \textit{J. Aikin} and \textit{J. Oxley} [Adv. Appl. Math. 48, No. 1, 1--24 (2012; Zbl 1253.05056)], studied the structure of 4-flowers in 4-connected matroids. But generalizing the concept, the author studied 4-flowers in vertically 4-connected matroids. In fact, there is a natural relation of equivalence on such 4-flowers. As it is interesting to know more about the structure of 4-flowers of vertically 4-connected matroids, the study by Chen, characterizing the structure and establishing two important theorems in this regard is very useful. For the needed technical and other details refer to \textit{J. G. Oxley} [Matroid theory. Oxford: Oxford University Press (1992; Zbl 0784.05002)].
