The author considers the Helmholtz equation in the exterior of a non-closed Lipschitz surface in \(\mathbb{R}^3\) with impedance boundary conditions and natural conditions at infinity. It is shown that the problem has a unique solution in certain functional space. A representation of solution in terms of potentials is obtained.
