The Schrödinger equation with Planck constant \(h\) is reduced at the form \[ i\varepsilon \frac{\partial u}{\partial t}=- \varepsilon^{2}\frac{\partial^{2}u}{\partial x^{2}}- V(x)u, \quad t>0, \quad x\in [-1,1], \] where \( \varepsilon \) is a small parameter. The authors propose the method to approximate this equation using the concept of exponential splitting, that consists in the possibility to compute the terms with high power of the small parameter \(\varepsilon\). The main part of this article consists in the foundation of the approximation.
