The authors use known results for rings in order to prove new results for compact topological rings or compact associative topological rings. First, they prove a result about the product of upper triangular matrices with zero entries on the diagonal, where the values of the matrices come from a family of compact unital topological rings. Then they show that every compact nilpotent topological ring \(R\) with prime characteristic and \(R^n=0\) could be embedded in a ring of upper triangular \(n\times n\)-matrices with values in a compact commutative topological ring and with zero entries on the diagonal. As a main result, it is shown that a compact topologically nilpotent topological ring \(R\) can be embedded in a ring of infinite upper diagonal matrices with zeros on the diagonal. Moreover, in case \(R\) is locally compact and of prime characteristic, then it could be embedded in the ring of finite-dimensional upper diagonal matrices with zeros on the diagonal. The paper ends with a version of Kegel's Theorem for topological rings.
