This volume is the natural companion of the book ``Particle and Fundamental Interactions'' [the authors, Unitext -- Collana di Fisica e Astronomia. Milano: Springer (2009; Zbl 1185.81001); for the 2nd edition (English) see the authors, Undergraduate Lecture Notes in Physics. Dordrecht: Springer (2012; Zbl 1368.81001)]. In that book, a complete overview on the modern Particle Physics is presented. Here, an exhaustive series of exercises on the same topics are proposed. The book is divided into 14 chapters, as the companion book, and several exercises on the same topics of the corresponding chapter are performed. In each chapter the exercises are arranged in order of increasing difficulty. The former can be in general dealt with little difficulty. The latter are often real modern experimental research questions (such as neutrino oscillations and detection, cosmic ray research, proton decay etc.) or historical experiments and are explained in an exhaustive way. Moreover, almost each chapter is integrated with supplements, with further information and more insight on experimental techniques and data analysis. This book is intended mainly to undergraduate students in experimental and theoretical physics but is also suitable for physics teachers that can find here an extensive collection of exercises (or can be inspired by them). It can be also very useful to all the people that want to approach the subject of modern particle physics and are looking for a good training.
