The authors consider a strongly continuous semigroup \(T(t)\), \(t\geq 0\), of asymptotically nonexpansive operators on a closed convex subset \(K\) of a real Banach space. The set of common fixed points of the semigroup \(T(t)\) is assumed to be nonempty. Under certain assumptions, the authors establish that the implicit and explicit sequences \(u_n\) defined by the relations \(u_n=(1-\alpha_n)\frac{1}{t_n}\int_0^{t_n} T(s)u_n\,ds+\alpha_n u\), \(u_{n+1}=(1-\alpha_n)\frac{1}{t_n}\int_0^{t_n} T(s)u_n\,ds+\alpha_n u\), where \(\alpha_n\to 0\), \(t_n\to\infty\), \(u\in K\), converge to fixed points of the semigroup.
