The authors investigate a steady-state Navier-Stokes problem in an exterior domain of \(\mathbb R^m\) with \(m \geq 4\). The boundary condition is nonhomogeneous. By using former similar results for the Stokes problem or for problems in bounded domains of lower dimensions the authors are able to prove the existence of a solution under certain assumptions for the boundary data. In this way the authors extend a well-known result of \textit{H.~Fujita and H.~Morimoto} [``Eigenfunctions of the Laplacian of exponential type'', in: J.-M. Bony (ed.), New trends in microlocal analysis, 39--58 (Tokyo, 1997; Zbl 0877.35082)] to exterior domains in higher dimensions. For this objective they use among other things fundamental solutions of the Stokes system and the Sobolev inequality.
