Summary: By using the coincidence degree theory, we consider the following 2\(m\)-point boundary value problem \[ D^\alpha_{0+} u(t) = f(t, u(t), ~D^{\alpha -1}_{0+} u(t), ~D^{\alpha -2}_{0+} u(t)) + e(t), ~0 < t < 1, \] \[ I^{3-\alpha}_{0+} u(t)|_{t=0} = 0, ~D^{\alpha -2}_{0+} u(1) = \sum^{m-2}_{i=1} a_i D^{\alpha -2}_{0+} u(\xi_i), ~u(1) = \sum^{m-2}_{i=1} b_i u(\eta_i), \] where \(2 < \alpha \leq 3, ~D^\alpha_{0+}\) and \(I^\alpha_{0+}\) are the standard Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative and fractional integral, respectively. A new result on the existence of solutions for the above fractional boundary value problem is obtained.
