The authors use Clifford algebras \(C\ell_8,\) resp. \(C\ell(4,4),\) to study the triality transformation on the group \(Spin(8),\) resp. \(Spin^0(4,4).\) Applications to the Lie group \(Spin_7\) and Grassmanian manifolds are given.
