A three-dimensional (3D) anisotropic nonisothermal multiphysics two-phase transport model and its numerical methods are systematically studied for a full proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC). Numerical techniques including Kirchhoff transformation and combined finite elements upwind finite volume discretizations are presented. Also, a 3D numerical simulation for the PEMFC model is given. The efficiency and accuracy of the numerical methods are illustrated.
