This paper discusses strong convergence of a regularization proximal point algorithm for the problem of finding a common fixed point of a finite family of nonexpansive mappings in a uniformly convex and uniformly smooth Banach space. This is carried out by using techniques from monotone operators. In particular, the convex feasibility problem is analyzed.
