Four new theorems are presented, extending earlier results, [\textit{C. A. Berenstein} and \textit{D. C. Struppa}, Itogi Nauki Tekh., Ser. Sovrem. Probl. Mat., Fundam. Napravleniya 54, 5--111 (1989; Zbl 0706.46031)] for the description of all domains \({\mathcal O}_\alpha\subset \mathbb R^n\) (the Euclidean space with \(n\geq 2\)) for which the system of convolution equations \(f* T_\alpha= 0\) on \({\mathcal O}_a\) (with \(\alpha\) from a non-empty index set \(A\)) has only the zero solution. Interesting results were also reported by \textit{V. V. Volchkov} [Sb. Math. 190, No.11, 1607--1622 (1999); translation from Mat. Sb. 190, No. 11, 51--66 (1999; Zbl 0938.46043)] for the special case of a family \({\mathcal F}= \{T_\alpha\}\) of distributions supported on the sphere, clarifying the important role of the spectrum in the expansion of the distributions in spherical harmonics. The general problem of finding, for any given family \({\mathcal F}\), the description of all domains \({\mathcal O}\subset \mathbb R^n\) for which \({\mathcal O}_a\neq 0\) for all \(a\in A\) still remains open.
