The authors obtain sufficient conditions for the existence of at least one or two symmetric positive solutions of fourth order boundary value problems for an increasing homeomorphism and homomorphism on time-scales by using the Krasnosel'skii fixed point theorem. This work extends recent results in the literature by \textit{M. Pei} and \textit{S. K. Chang} [Math. Comput. Modelling 51, No. 9--10, 1260--1267 (2010; Zbl 1206.65188)].
