Let \(G=(\mathbb{Z}/2)^3\) and suppose \(G\) acts on itself by conjugation. In this paper the author investigates the algebraic structure of the twisted orbifold \(K\)-theory \( ^\tau K_{\mathrm{orb}}(\wedge [*/G])\) of the inertia orbifold \(\wedge [*/G]\) of \(G\). Specifically, the author determines the rank of \( ^\tau K_{\mathrm{orb}}(\wedge [*/G])\) and all the relations between its basis elements. We know that in general, for a finite group \(G\), \(K_G(G)\) can be decomposed as the direct sum \(\Sigma_{(g)}R(Z_G(g))\) over all conjugacy classes, where \(Z_G(g)\) denotes the centraliser of \(g\) in \(G\), so of course that \(Z_G(g)=G\) in the present case. \textit{A. Adem}, \textit{Y. Ruan} and \textit{B. Zhang} prove [``A stringy product on twisted orbifold K-theory'', Morfismos 11, No. 2, 33--64 (2007), \url{arXiv:math/0605534}] that if \(\tau\) is in the image of the inverse transgression, then \( ^\tau K_{\mathrm{orb}}(\wedge [*/G])\) can be interpreted as \( ^\tau K_G(G)\) and in addition to that there is a corresponding decomposition in the twisted \(G\)-equivariant \(K\)-theory. When supposing that \(\tau\) is a 2-cocycle in \(H^2(G, U(1))\) corresponding to the inverse transgression \(\theta_g(\phi)\) in \(H^3(G, \mathbb{Z})=G\) for each \(g \in G\), it can be written as \[ ^{\theta(\phi)}K_G(G)=\sum_{g \in G} \;^{\theta_g(\phi)}R(G), \] and then the product on \( ^{\theta(\phi)}K_G(G)\) is defined via the pairings \[ ^{\theta_g(\phi)}R(G) \otimes ^{\theta_h(\phi)}R(G) \to ^{\theta_{gh}(\phi)}R(G). \] By calculating these pairings together with \( ^{\theta_g(\phi)}R(G)\)'s we can obtain the desired results. Especially, the first one of them can be stated as follows: the rank of \( ^\tau K_G(G)\) is equal to 22. Finally, as an application, the author computes the partition function on the 3-torus \((S^1)^3\) with gauge group \(G\) and obtains \(Z((S^1)^3)=22\).
