Let \(S\) and \(T\) be two Hausdorff locally compact topological *-semigroups and \(\mathcal{F}(S,T)\) the set of functions \(f:S\times T\to\mathbb{C}\) such that \(f(s,t)=\langle\pi _1(s)\xi,~\pi _2(t)\eta\rangle\) for each \((s,t)\in S\times T\), where \(\pi _1\) defines a continuous *-representation of \(S\) by bounded operators on some Hilbert space \(H\) (\(\pi _2\) is defined similarily) and \(\xi, \eta\in H\) are vectors. Then \(\mathcal{F}(S,T)\) is an algebra of bounded functions on \(S\times T\). In case when both \(S\) and \(T\) are commutative foundation *-semigroups with identities it is shown that \(\mathcal{F}(S,T)\) is identical to the algebra of Fourier transforms of bimeasures in \(BM(S^*,T^*)\), where \(S^*\) and \(T^*\) are the locally compact Hausdorff spaces of all bounded and continuous *-semicharacters on \(S\) and \(T\) respectively endowed with the compact-open topology. This result enables one to make the bimeasures Banach space \(BM(S^*,T^*)\) (consequently, \(\mathcal{F}(S,T)\) as well) into a Banach algebra. Conditions when \(\mathcal{F}(S,T)\) is amenable are given.
