In this survey article, the authors give new proofs of results on injectivity where an additional group action is also involved. In the first section, the authors recall standard injectivity results (commutative) as in Section 11 of H. E. Lacey's monograph [\textit{H. E. Lacey}, `The isometric theory of classical Bananch spaces', Die Grundlehren der mathematischen Wissenschaften. Band 208. Berlin-Heidelberg-New York: Springer-Verlag (1974; Zbl 0285.46024)]. By an action of a discrete group \(G\) on a topological space \(X\), it is meant that there is an identity preserving homeomorphism from \(G\) into the group of homeomorphisms of \(X\). This leads to the corresponding \(G\) notions of rigidity, projective etc. The authors show that when \(G\) is countable, a minimal left ideal in \(\beta G\) is \(G\)-projective.
