The author studies multisymplectic manifolds, i.e., manifolds endowed with a closed nondegenerate differential form. On such manifold, two new objects are explicitly constructed, i.e., a specific \(L_{\infty}\)-algebra, consisting of differential forms, and a differential graded Leibniz algebra. As possible applications of the new objects, the author suggests representation theory and quantum groups, via the ``Nakajima quiver varieties''; weak Lie algebras; the Gelfand-Dickey-Dorfman formalism; Nambu mechanics.
