In the paper, the authors study the modified zeta function of order \(k\) in the half-plane \(\text{Re}\,s\geq 1\) defined by \[ F_k(s)=\frac{1}{\Gamma(s)}\int_{0}^{+\infty}t^{s-1} \frac{e^{-t}}{1-e^{-t}}f_k(1-e^{-t}) \,dt, \] where \(f_k(z)=\sum_{n=1}^{\infty}\frac{\lambda_n}{n!}\frac{z^n}{n}\), \(\lambda_1=\frac{1}{2}\) and \(\lambda_{n+1}=\int_{0}^{1}x(1-x)...(n-x)\,dx\) are the Cauchy numbers, \(k=0,1,2,...\). It is analytically continuable to the whole complex plane. If \(k=1\), for positive integers \(q\), an extension of Hermite's formula gives following relation \[ F_1(q)=\sum_{n=1}^{\infty}\frac{\lambda_n}{n! n^2}P_{q-1}(H_n,H_n^{(2)},...,H_n^{(q-1)}) \] \[ =\sum_{n=1}^{\infty}\frac{\log(n+1)}{n^q}+\gamma \zeta(q)+\zeta(q+1)-\sum_{n=1}^{\infty}\frac{H_n}{n^q}-\sum_{k=1}^{q-1}\frac{1}{k}\sum_{n=1}^{\infty}\frac{1}{(n+1)^kn^{q-k}}, \] where harmonic numbers \(H_n=H_n^{(1)}\), \(\gamma=\lim_{n \to\infty}(H_n-\log n)\) is the Euler-Mascheroni constant, and \(P_m\) are the modified Bell polynomials defined by generating function \[ \exp\bigg(\sum_{k=1}^{\infty}x_k\frac{z^k}{k}\bigg)=\sum_{m=0}^{\infty}P_m(x_1,...,x_m)z^m. \] It is shown that the function \(F_k(s)\) has an identity in terms of Ramanujan summation, for example, \[ F_k(1)= \sum_{n=1}^{\infty}\frac{\lambda_n}{n!}\frac{1}{n^{k+1}}= \sum_{n\geq 1}^{{\mathcal R}} \frac{P_k(H_n,H_n^{(2)},...,H_n^{(k)})}{n}, \] where \(\sum_{n\geq 1}^{{\mathcal R}}\) denotes the sum in the sense of Ramanujan of divergent series.
