The authors formulate forty problems, questions and exercises in singularity theory: easy exercises up to hard unsolved problems. Problem 3 deals with the integral closure of an ideal. One has to prove that the integral closure of an ideal is again an ideal. The integral closure of a monomial ideal shall be computed. Problem 28 asks for a proof of Artin's Approximation Theorem without using induction. Problem 30 is Grothendieck's \(p\)-Curvature Conjecture.
