A class of high-order finite volume schemes, based on a Lagrange remap formulation, has been proposed for solving the 1-dimensional ideal MHD equations in the nonlinear regime; these schemes use a one-step time and are better suited for parallelization and adaptive mesh refinement. A multi-dimensional extension and a few details about its implementation are introduced. Finally, some numerical results on smooth and non-smooth problems are also presented.
