Two-dimensional transport equation as Fredholm integral equation (Q430310)

For a three-dimensional linear transport equation, the error of discretization of ordinates is estimated in terms of a quadratic error for the coefficients of an expansion in Chebyshev polynomials. A linear two-dimensional transport equation is reduced, using the so-called Sumudu transform, to a Fredholm integral equation of the second kind.
