The paper presents an implicit and discontinuous scheme for a non-local Hamiltonian-Jacobi equation modelling dislocation dynamics. A viscosity solution for the stationary partial differential equation governing the continuous cell problem is considered. A numerical scheme for the viscosity solution is devised. Further, the viscosity solution for the time evolution problems is derived. Stability, existence and uniqueness of the Hamiltonian are discussed. An error estimate is also derived for the Crandall-Lions type continuous evolution problem. Several theorems and Lemmas are proved. The paper is concluded by two numerical simulations in one and two dimensions and it is shown graphically how the dislocation line is evolved until it reached the obstacles.
