The authors study parabolic systems modeled on the \(p(z)\)-Laplacian system \[ u_ t= \text{div} ((1+|Du|^2)^{(p(z)-2)/2}Du)=0 \] in some cylindrical domain \(\Omega_T=\Omega\times(-T,0)\), where \(\Omega\) is a bounded open set in \(\mathbb R^n\), \(T>0\), \(z\) represents the space-time variable \(z=(x,t)\), and \(p\) is some Hölder continuous function which is always greater than \(2n/(n+2)\). They prove the partial regularity of the vector-valued solution \(u\). In other words, they show that there is an open subset \(R\) of \(\Omega_T\) with the same Lebesgue measure as \(\Omega_T\) such that \(Du\) is Hölder continuous on \(R\). In fact, the Hölder exponent of \(Du\) is the same as that for \(p\).
