Giving a detailed reconstructive analysis of Frege's points of view, the author argues in favour of \textit{M. Dummett}'s [The interpretation of Frege's philosophy (Cambridge: Harvard Univ. Press, 1981)] distinction of analysis and decomposition with respect to the senses expressed by common language sentences and terms, and thus to have the principle of compositionality for senses combined with structurally different sentences expressing the same sense.
