Integration of exact Courant algebroids (Q441144)

This work gives an answer to the question of ``what is the global object integrating a Courant algebroid in the case of exact Courant algebroids. The construction uses a local Lie 2-groupoid carrying a symplectic form on the space of 2-simplices. The authors also prove that an exact Courant algebroid is isomorphic to the standard one. This isomorphism is an isomorphism of differential graded manifolds and not of symplectic manifolds. After the necessary modifications, the authors prove that the differentiation of their construction enables to recover the original Courant algebroid.
